Testimonials

"Over the last decade, Scott has become my trusted business advisor. His unquestioned integrity coupled with global business acumen enables him to see opportunities that solve the most difficult business issues. Better than anyone I know, Scott is able to assimilate diverse data in complex environments that mobilize teams to turn strategy into action. After Caterpillar became stuck at $20 Billion in Sales, the research Scott led helped the company develop a breakthrough strategy that enabled us to become number one in the Dow Industrials in Total Shareholder Return. As comfortable with technological details as he is with visionary possibilities, Scott works tirelessly to adapt his approach to both the business need and an executive's personal style. Scott identifies at a deep level with each executive and is intensely loyal to them and their mission. Whether at a podium or in an intimated setting, Scott provides insightful guidance with clarity, consistency, and commitment. His collaborative style enables cooperation amongst diverse organizations and executives that look forward to finding ways to innovate together. Scott personally helped me launch Caterpillar's Global Finance Transformation that streamlined business processes and systems impacting our team in 180 countries on five continents enabling billions of dollars of financial benefits. I am forever grateful to Scott for making my company and me better."

Dave Burritt, CFO of Caterpillar (retired)

"Across my 20 year career founding and owning the Corporate Executive Board, I've worked with just under 6,000 young professionals - the top 20% of the class from the nation's top ten to twenty universities. As to original insight and astonishing force of creativity, I've not known Scott Bohannon's equal. Sitting at a table with the best minds in the firm, Scott will see paths and answers and strategies that the rest missed. Equally, Scott is a masterful teacher - a superior speaker and discussion leader. As to learning and teaching, Scott sets the standard. It's a privilege to work by his side."

David Bradley, Chairman of Atlantic Media

"We overhauled our capital budgeting projecting process using the framework Scott provided us. That reallocated how we spend nearly a billion pounds a year, getting those pounds invested in true growth bets. For time in a more than a decade, our non-acquisition capital expenditures are generating real earnings growth above our competitors and the economy."

Chief Strategist, Global 100 Company

"Wow! Great primer on social media that is actionable and provides guardrails in this new world. Wish others could have heard Scott's fabulous presentation first hand."

Head of Government Affairs, Global 50 Company

"An intellectual Godzilla. Scott Bohannon is gifted at engaging the brightest minds to extract -- for their benefit and for others' -- their most compelling ideas and insights. He is brilliant at guiding discussion of complex issues toward solutions and next steps, even across large groups. He also has the rarest combination of traits: brilliance and humility. Scott Bohannon is one of the most insightful, caring, thought provoking, and capable people I have known."

Adm. Nevin Carr (ret), Former Head of the Office of Naval Research

"As General Counsel of a large and complex organisation [in my case, Telstra - Australia's incumbent Telco] you are always on the look-out for bright and insightful people who can give you actionable information to manage risks - especially emerging ones - and keep you and your team at the forefront of technology to work smarter and be the best trusted advisors possible. Scott is one of the few people I found globally over a decade who really "gets it" and in both breadth and depth, added value by combining a wide field of view and relationships across many organisations, withdetailed analysis of what works and why - and then helps leaders make change exciting and fun when it comes to implementation."

Will Irving, Group Managing Director, Telstra Business

"Over the last five years, I have had the opportunity to interact with Scott. From a routine presentation at a Corporate Executive Board meeting, Scott has now become one of my key go-to guys for his counsel on any business topic, globally. His genuine interest in your affairs, to his knowledge of what is happening globally, and his affable style and keen interest to be helpful under any situation - makes Scott one of a kind. I know I can call Scott at the middle of night and he would not mind. Frankly, we all aspire to be "Scott" but most of us fail to even come close to him.

Beyond, why I like Scott, what makes Scott tick is his ability to connect the dots like few can; he is an avid networker - this comes to him naturally, can assimilate diverse data in complex environments, and distill 2-3 key insights that make the "ah moment"!

It is a privilege to have known him and work alongside Scott. I would whole-heartedly endorse Scott for any business problem, anywhere in the world. I can say that for only a few people, I have known and met in the last 30 years of having worked across the globe."

Vivek Rai Gupta, Senior Advisor to the Chairman, Reliance Industries, India

"I have known Scott as an outstanding professional and a delightful person, and I deeply cherish my relationship with him, which has continued to grow over the years. His perspectives on organizational strategy, innovation and emerging business models are simply awesome. He has been a great source of insight and advise for me in my role as head of strategy for a global enterprise and now as an innovation centric business leader.
